Core Credits:
The specific core courses required are listed in the respective program. Any request for a course substitution will be evaluated to determine if the proposed substitute course meets program requirements. A minimum of 33 core credits must be earned at new Pilgrim for any degree or diploma awarded. The one exception to this policy is a follows: The diploma and Associates program are linked in such a way that the same core credits earned at New Pilgrim for a diploma program may be applied to the core credit for the corresponding associated degree, leaving the student to complete the general education requirements. The number of core credits required is 33 for a diploma program, 33 for an Associate Degree, and 39 for a Bachelor Degree. Bachelor’s level students have the following options to satisfy core credits above the 33 credit hour minimum to be earned at New Pilgrim.
